This kit replaces the rear coils in the Y62 Patrol with AAA Super Duty Air Bags, offering better load management and consistent ride height. The auto ride height system maintains the same height regardless of load, preventing wheel alignment issues that affect handling, tyre wear, and fuel economy.

The kit is plug-and-play, using pre-existing bolt holes with no drilling, welding, or cutting. It works with both standard and HBMC suspension. The airbags distribute weight better than coils, preventing factory lower control arm failure.

The Auto Ride Height Kit features pneumatic valves that automatically adjust the airbag pressure based on load, without the need for manual adjustments. The compressor and air tank are designed for quick pressure recovery.

Engineers require approval for replacing coils with airbags, but they prefer an automated, height-stable system like this. The kit is easy to install, with clear instructions. The entire process takes 1-2 hours for the coil delete and a full day for the auto levelling system.

Note: The kit is engineered with high-tensile grade 8 bolts.

Braced Factory Lower Control Arms (LCA):

The base kit bolts to factory or billet arms. The plate spans the entire length of the arm, ensuring durability with our coil delete kit. If you don’t require a GVM upgrade, skipping the LCA can save money. GVM upgrades require LCA upgrades, which can be selected at checkout. For factory height or no lift, the Braced Factory Arms are suitable.

Extreme Duty Lower Control Arms (XDLCA):

For a 2” lift, the Extreme Duty LCA is necessary. These arms address the issue of rear hub rotation when lifting the Y62. This causes the LCA to lean backward, which can stress the bushes. Heavier vehicles in rugged terrain are more likely to experience problems.

The Extreme Duty LCA compensates for caster tilt and changes the airbag position to reduce strain. It also shortens the bag for a softer feel at a 2” lift. These arms are also available for factory height vehicles.
