LSD Shims 0.5mm Thick to suit Nissan Patrol GU H260 (large rear diff)

The Nissan GQ and GU Patrols are renowned for having a great LSD, over time they do wear out though.

SPECIAL NOTE: Some later H260 rear centers run a small 104mm, Same shim that suit h233b.

These shims are 0.55mm thick, If you install one shim with the original shim pack it should tighten your lsd to just above factory standard new, so you may have a squeal around corners on the bitumen, and nice and tight in the bush,providing extra traction in off road situations, without wearing out your tyres prematurely.

This is all based on your vehicles wear, we cannot tell you how tight it will be for certain.

If you want it locked tight then 2 shims will be the answer, or you may want to go for the thicker 0.7mm shims in our store, There are a lot of benefit’s for using shims to lock your diff compared to other low cost options

Shims can be removed if it doesn’t suit your need’s, they are cheap, can easily get more if required or wear out. 2-3 shims will lock the rear diff tight enough to keep positive traction whenever you lift a wheel off-road, It is a cheap alternative to a Diff Lock, Relatively easy to install with plenty of instructions on the forums with photos, If in doubt you can remove your centre and take it to a 4wd mechanic who is competent with diffs to get them to install your shims, If you’re not sure on who to use, ask us and we can recommend someone near you.

These shims have been laser cut and NOT stamped. Stamped shims have a slight turned edge making them hard to set up right. These are perfectly flat.

If you purchase more than one you will only pay freight on the first shim.
